Tea ceremonies and events
“A wonderful, wonderful experience.”

Carmen

During a Tea Ceremony space is created to make tea, drink it and feel its effects.

A lot of time is taken to experience the tea, so that naturally everything slows down, people become deeply relaxed and touch onto new states of being.

In the Chinese tradition the tea ceremony is ‘Cha Dao’: Cha is tea, the material, and Dao is the ‘Dao’ of Daoism - spirit, universal truth. So through tea - the material - we reach spirit.

This is a very special way to be together, whilst at the same time having some space for you. Because of the unique mix of the group of people, the tea energy and the tea-maker, very deep experiences occur.

As well as experiencing and learning about the different energies and healing effects of the teas, you'll learn how to make the teas. After a few ceremonies you'll be able to make the teas for others.

I run Tea Ceremonies in the UK, 'Gaia‘s Thing' weeks at our retreat, The Hill That Breathes in Italy, and I do a Tea Ceremony during most weeks here at The Hill.
